CardX
We partnered with CardX, the exclusive provider of turnkey, legally-compliant, zero-cost credit card surcharging, to help them navigate the complex and opaque credit card processing system. Following a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case, CardX created a niche for itself and needed to better communicate its unique offering to attract more business.
We worked together to redefine their brand story, design a cohesive visual identity, and develop a modular design system for their web app portal. This approach simplified their messaging, aligned with user motivations, and empowered their team to quickly prototype, update, and scale, driving growth and awareness.

Digital product support —
As part of the broader CardX engagement, I supported the design of the CardX customer portal, contributing to UI production and screen design within the established design system. I also designed transactional and HTML email communications, extending the brand into key lifecycle moments and ensuring a consistent, clear experience across product and customer touchpoints.
Sales tools —
CardX wanted its Chicago headquarters to reflect the same clarity and confidence as its brand. We translated the brand system into an immersive environmental experience—layering texture, pattern, and even neon to create a space that attracts top talent and signals credibility.
